The Dance Collective
About Us
The Dance Collective of Clarksville was created to provide a different kind of movement space, one that values education, artistry, consistency, community, and longevity just as much as performance. We believe dance should be accessible, empowering, and sustainable for every stage of life, whether someone is training seriously, returning to movement as an adult, or simply looking for a place to feel confident and connected.

Founded by Morgan Theis, a licensed massage therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a background in dance, wellness, corrective exercise, and movement education, The Dance Collective was intentionally built to bridge the gap between dance training, conditioning, recovery, and overall body awareness. Our philosophy combines technical dance education with mobility, strength, flexibility, and injury-conscious training practices that help support healthier movement patterns both inside and outside the studio.

Our programming is developed collaboratively by a passionate team of instructors with diverse backgrounds in dance, fitness, performance, flexibility, and movement education. Together, we are committed to creating classes and experiences that challenge, encourage, and support students while fostering creativity, confidence, and individual growth. We deeply value the artistry and storytelling that choreography brings to dance, while also recognizing the importance of strong technical foundations, conditioning, and intentional training practices that help dancers continue growing long term.

As The Dance Collective continues to evolve, we are excited and genuinely curious about what the future holds for our community. While our programming may continue expanding into additional performance, choreography, and traditional studio opportunities over time, we remain grounded in the intentional, welcoming, and educational foundation that shaped this space from the beginning.

We proudly welcome dancers from all backgrounds and training experiences, including students from other studios seeking supplemental training, adults rediscovering dance, beginners, performers, athletes, and anyone wanting a more intentional relationship with movement.

At its core, The Dance Collective exists to create a supportive and inclusive environment where people can continue learning, moving, and growing without feeling like dance has to end at a certain age or level. We are passionate about building strong movers, supporting healthy bodies, and creating a community where movement feels both inspiring and sustainable.
