
Our Programming
The Dance Collective of Clarksville offers movement-based programming designed to support technique, strength, flexibility, artistry, confidence, and long-term growth. Our classes are intentionally structured to create a welcoming environment for both youth and adults while encouraging consistency, creativity, and healthy movement practices.
Many of our core classes are offered in progressive series formats, allowing students to build skills over time with the same instructor and group. We also offer rotating pop-ups, workshops, choreography classes, and specialty movement experiences throughout the year.
Youth Progamming
Tiny Dancers: Ballet + Jazz (Ages 3-6)
An introductory movement class designed for younger students to explore rhythm, coordination, creativity, musicality, and classroom structure through age-appropriate movement and dance activities.
Ballet Foundations Lab (Ages 7-17)
A technique-focused class designed to build foundational ballet vocabulary, alignment, strength, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness in a supportive environment. This class emphasizes proper movement mechanics while encouraging confidence and artistry.
Youth Flexibility & Conditioning Lab (Ages 7-17)
A cross-training class focused on mobility, flexibility, strength, balance, and injury-conscious conditioning for dancers and active students. Great for students looking to improve body control, performance quality, and overall movement awareness.
Youth Leaps, Turns & Technique Classes (Ages 7-17)
These classes focus on developing leaps, turns, overall technique, musicality, coordination, performance quality, and movement retention in a structured but encouraging environment. Class focus may vary by session and instructor specialty.
Youth Hip Hop (Ages 7-17)
An energetic class focused on rhythm, musicality, coordination, performance, and hip hop fundamentals. Students will explore movement combinations and choreography while building confidence and performance quality.
Teen + Adult Programming
Tap Foundations (Ages 14-Adult)
A rhythm-based tap class focused on foundational tap vocabulary, timing, musicality, coordination, and performance confidence. Open to beginners and returning dancers alike.
Contemporary (Ages 14-Adult)
A movement class blending technical foundations, musicality, expression, fluidity, and dynamic movement exploration. Designed to encourage both artistry and movement confidence.
Jazz Technique (Ages 14-Adult)
A technique and performance-focused class exploring jazz fundamentals, movement quality, musicality, style, and combinations in an encouraging and energetic environment.
Dance Strength & Mobility (Ages 14-Adult)
A movement-based conditioning class designed to improve mobility, flexibility, core strength, stability, balance, and overall body awareness for dancers and non-dancers alike.
Low Impact Movement (Ages 14-Adult)
A gentle movement and mobility-focused class designed to support flexibility, coordination, balance, strength, and overall wellness in a low-pressure and accessible environment.
Adult Ballet Foundations (Adults 18+)
A welcoming ballet class for adults of all experience levels focused on posture, alignment, technique, flexibility, balance, and movement quality. Perfect for beginners, returning dancers, or adults looking to continue training in a supportive environment.
Adult Hip Hop (Adults 18+)
A high-energy class focused on grooves, coordination, musicality, and choreography while creating a fun and welcoming environment for adults to move confidently.
Adult Heels Foundation (Adults 18+)
A beginner-friendly heels series focused on confidence, musicality, movement quality, and foundational heels technique in a supportive and empowering environment. Dancers will work on balance, posture, walking technique, transitions, choreography, and performance while building strength and confidence through movement.
Pop-Ups & Specialty Classes
