FILMING AND RECORDING POLICY

To ensure a respectful, professional, and distraction-free environment, The Dance Collective maintains the following filming and recording guidelines.

Filming & Photography
Filming or photography is permitted only during instructor-designated times, typically at the end of class. Recording during class is not allowed without explicit instructor permission. Anyone recording themselves must have consent from all individuals who may appear in the frame or wait until the studio space is clear.

Live Recording & Livestreaming
Live recording or livestreaming of any kind is strictly prohibited during Dance Collective classes. This includes public, private, or personal live videos on any platform (including Instagram Live, Facebook Live, TikTok Live, Zoom, or similar).

This policy applies to all regularly scheduled classes. Private rehearsals or private lessons may operate under separate agreements and permissions.

Any participant found livestreaming during class will be subject to a $50 policy violation fee and may be asked to leave class. Repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Intellectual Property
All choreography taught in class is the intellectual property of the choreographer and/or The Dance Collective. Recording or sharing choreography without permission is not permitted. When posting approved recordings, dancers are encouraged to credit the choreographer whenever possible.

Studio Media
The Dance Collective may occasionally photograph or record classes for marketing or promotional purposes. These recordings are intentional, limited, and studio-managed. By participating in class, you acknowledge the possibility of appearing in studio media. Please notify staff in advance if you have concerns.

These policies are in place to protect the privacy, creativity, and overall experience of our community.
